The Tech: We simulate the actual purchasing process by hitting respondents with "Choice Sets" rather than isolated questions. We then use Hierarchical Bayes (HB) Estimation to pull out individual-level utilities (part-worths).
The Result: This lets you run sophisticated "What-If" market simulations. You can actually predict how market share shifts when you tweak a price point or a competitor drops a new feature.
